4 Offie nominations and winner of Best New Musical of 2023, La Maupin is the punk folk retelling of the story of 17th century French bisexual opera singing, sword fighting force of nature, Julie d’Aubigny. Olivia wrote the book for and composed all the music for this critically acclaimed piece of theatre as well as performing in it and acting as musical director.

Olivia was a co-creator and performer on Mother Must Die, a devised piece of theatre which tells the tale of strange twin sisters who return to their childhood home to murder their mother on her birthday. This dark comedy thriller was performed at The Pleasance as part of the London Horror Festival, and then at the Old Red Lion.

Olivia composed a variety of music for this collection of online stories for children all created in isolation in lockdown. With genres from Greek myth, to Irish folklore and fairytales, she composed pieces to match different settings and times.

Olivia performed as Snug the joiner in Skewbald Theatre’s tour of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This was an actor-musican led show where Olivia was tasked by members of the cast and audience to improvise songs as the play made it’s way around the open air venues it visited.

Olivia worked as a voiceover artist for the British English version of Netflix’s ‘Spirit Rangers’. She played characters ranging from a volcano to a crow and a mountain lion to a singing dafodil.

Olivia understudied and played the role of Miss Hill in ‘Whose Life Is It Anyway?’ directed by Sir Peter Hall at The Harold Pinter Theatre in London’s West End.

Originally performed at the Lion and Unicorn as part of the Camden Fringe, this show about a demonic puppet beaver and her beleaguered colleagues making a stage comeback returned to the same venue for a Christmas run. Olivia wrote the play and composed additional music for this tongue-in-cheek look at the showbiz world of yesteryear.

Written and composed by Olivia, this murder mystery musical started it’s llife at Millfield Theatre in north London before being developed to headline the From Page to Stage season of musicals at the Landor Theatre, and also being used as a musical workshop for students at the Arts Educational School.

BABA YAGA

Olivia worked as writer and composer on this retelling of the Russian story “Baba Yaga’. With music drawing on Eastern European and folk traditions, this piece of children’s theatre toured outdoor venues in the UK.
